Congratulations to Clooney Gaels on All-Ireland semi-final win 

Ballymena SDLP councillor Declan O’Loan has congratulated Clooney Gaels on their dramatic All-Ireland Club B Division Semi-Final win at Mullingar on Sunday.

He said, “This is great news for Clooney and for all involved in local GAA. To succeed at this level shows the level of organisation and determination in the club. Congratulations to Brendan Kelly and all involved. It is also a testimony to the huge level of local support, with large numbers heading off to Mullingar for the match.

I am delighted that they are coming home in great spirits. Now it will be straight in to get ready for the final.”
