‘GOOD LUCK TO RUAIRÍ ÓG’

Wishing her local team Rauirí Óg good luck for their all-Ireland club semi-final in Mullingar on Sunday next Cllr Orla Black said:

“I’m confident our local heroes will perform excellently. They have shown themselves to be a great team in coming from behind in the Ulster final and there is every reason to expect that the team will win its way to the St Patrick’s Day final in Croke Park.

“I wish the whole team, its coaches and management every success. The whole village and all hurling enthusiasts in North Antrim will be behind them”.

Also joining in the good wishes were outgoing North Antrim MLA Sean Farren and Councillor Catherine McCambridge.

“This is the year for an Ulster team to win the all-Ireland club championship and I believe that Cushendall have it in them to win. Having watched the team in the Ulster final I believe there is great talent in Ruairí Óg and expect great things of them on Sunday.”
